I have always wondered why only about half the user options
can be modeified with adduser. Attributes like "User cannot
modify LDAP info", etc.
I would think they can all be adjusted also. I have an entire domain
that no users are supposed to be able to change their user
info. Adding 1500+ user to the domain was simple with
adduser however having to go back in and change this one
attribute on all of them was a pain. I would at least think that
if the option was not modifiable from adduser that it would
just assume the "user defaults" for the domain. That was not
the case though.
