Okay,

I did all of this, with one difference: I was following Dusty's original
post and I was not aware that I had to click "No" for creating a new domain.
I clicked Yes. So now, obviously the Imail Admin is now not recognizing any
of the Users, Aliases, or Lists. They all still exist in c:\imail\domain,
and the new hostname is still configured to point to that same directory -
how can I get them reattached?

Andy,

Open the Control Panel, IMail Server, Global tab, click the Virtual Host...
button. Select the IP, change the 'Official Host Name' and click Save. If
asked 'Are you creating an new domain?", say no. Name should be changed (in
Registry, too!).

You might want to add to the Alias field (use 'space' as separator),
mail.domain.com, just in case someone is using that in email address. Can
remove later if desired.
