Paul, for me it looks like a DNS problem. Resolving "erols.com" gives 216.164.100.159 which is not reachable via SMTP-Port 25. SMTP connect on 207.172.3.245 (port 25) works well. You should check it also from your side. Ruediger Sobeck -----Ursprngliche Nachricht----- Von: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]Im Auftrag von Paul Sinclair Gesendet am: Samstag, 24. I had some trouble getting the external database host to run and downloaded odbcuser.dll from the Ipswitch site and replaced the existing odbcuser.dll file with it. I don't think that other than this anything was changed. Have not added a firewall or changed the DNS server. The log shows that iMail is properly resolving mail hosts, it just can't connect to them. It gets the "MX Connect Fail" error everytime. I am getting swamped with emails from users. Anyone have any suggestions what to look at/for? Thanks if you have ideas.
