Anybody else want to make another call for an open API from the vendor?
I hope Bruce makes a million for his work as I am sure it will be worth it,
but this conversation started out as "Cold Fusion users unite for free
interface..." and has now become "Ka-Ching!" as it always has when someone
puts a lot of time and effort in to something. We need an API from Ipswitch
so that I can write something to that API set knowing that, if the
underlying functionality changes, Ipswitch can support and extend the API
with "inside knowledge" of the new or changed components.
By the way this is NOT meant as a shot at Bruce. When there is a void
smart business people find a way to fill it with a good solution and get
rich. That is how it should work. I hope it does work out that way for him
and will look for his results with anticipation. Hey Bruce! just don't sell
your templates to that guy that likes to redistribute IMAIL templates etc.
:-> I just think that this does add credence to the statement that there is
a void. (a small one in a big solid product, but never the less a glaring
void) We need an API!
