You can point their DNS to your mail server, like this:

vdomain.com IN MX 10 mail.yourdomain.com

Or you can give the virtual an A name like this.

mail.vdomain.com IN A xxx.xxx.xxx.2
vdomain.com IN MX 10 mail.vdomain.com

It will work either way.  I use the latter since our clients
like the cozy feeling that this is their own mail server.
They point their POP3 and SMTP settings to
mail.vdomain.com with a logon of [EMAIL PROTECTED]
and it works fine.

They could also point their mail client to mail.yourdomain.com
with a logon of [EMAIL PROTECTED] and it would
work also.
