I see this with OE5 and several versions of IMAIL 5.x too.
Messages that are visible via web messaging just never turn up on OE5 using
IMAP.
I also see complaints from OE5 about IMail IMAP changing UIDs unexpectedly.
OE5 claims this indicates a IMAP server bug, but I don't actually understand
what the issue really is, so I'm not sure where the blame lies.
(eg. "Changed UID. MsgSeqNum 354, New UID 912517380. Prev UID: 912517379,
Next UID: 912517372.")
It would be a positive if Ipswitch undertook to actively test and recommend
a couple of IMAP4 clients. OE4 + IMail5 was the first combination that I
found to be actually usable. OE5 work pretty well in general, except for
these dropped message and UID problems.
