Looking at it from this angle, (standing sideways), smtp.boom.com
is forged anyway. That is how the idjet was announcing themselves
from their AOL dialup. Apache apparently does not record the
IP of gabriel.ul.ie however if you were trying to block something that
would be the one to block out. What I am not understanding though
is how your server relayed this message anyway?
One thing you can almost be assured of is that putting a rule in
that anything from @boom.com goes to spam would be pretty
safe right now. Last I heard they do not even have a mail service
up and running right now. And I don't accept mail directly from
AOL dialups period. If they connect once, they never connect again.
