Hello Everyone,
This is my first post to this List.
I would like to prevent people from sending mail
through the email server that do NOT have an user account on the
server.
For example we have virtual domains
@joop.com
@appie.com
Now Mark with his hotmail accounts wants to send a large email
out but he can't do this through his server so he changes his settings in his
mail program
Username : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Password :
whatever
Pop : mail.joop.com
Smtp: mail.joop.com
etc
At this moment mail can be send through our mail serve rlike
that, while marc does not even have an account set up.
Now I did look at the help
files that come with the server, and the closed thing that I could see to stop
this was No Mail Relay, but if I understand this correctly this means that only
users on the server can send to users on the server, so they can't send any mail
to someone that is not a user on the server.
Could someone please help me out with this one?
Regards,
Taco
