Hi everybody,

I saw on weekend that my spool-directory on my IMail-Server is full of
old delivered mails ... using IMail 5.08: What can I do to optimize this
directory (automatically scan and delete old mails?) ... Any Idea?

kind regards ...

Guten Tag,

Can't tell much from that, in ControlPanel:Imail:SMTP, check the
'debugging' box and lets see if more detail is more telling. You log
will
be bigger, so have the disk space available. stop/restart Imail smpt
service.

Please find out from the other SMTP server the brand and version of
their
SMTP server.

These lines:

>[x] looking up einsteinet.de in HOSTS
>[x] GIHE einsteinet.de = $virtual112

Are weird in that I don't have anything like that in my logs. Why is
imail
looking up in HOSTS file? why is $virtuall12 showing up? What is in
your
hosts file??

Do you have reverse delegation for the ip address of your Imail server?
