I just finished a system for an ISP to automate their entire signup process
(Mail, Billing, Signup...) Today they are moving from NT authentication to
ODBC. They have about 12,000 accounts. I'll let you know how it comes out.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Moving to external database

We are planning on switching to Rodopi billing software, Rodoopi has options
for controlling (adding deleting users etc.) I-Mail. However most of the
documentation assumes that you are using an external database. Is anyone on
the list using I-Mail and Rodopi (or a similar program) that could possibly
tell me how to get these things working. I think it should be possible to
write scripts using I-Mail's command line options for adding and deleting
users, but I would probably lose some functionality.
It may be easier to just switch my entire user base over to an external
database, but I have no idea what's involved in switching. IPSwitches
knowledgbase search turned up nothing about moving over once you're nice and
established.

Thanks in advance for any help!
