I have had it happen here. The message dies after the server
can not send the mail anymore. Plays havoc on the CPU in the
process. I had one put in a forward to our mail server name.
Of course the delivery failures would be forwarded to. Not sure
how long it was like that but it did not keep looping itself
very long.
I do random checks of forward files now just to see how many
idiots have done something similar.
