I agree. I think that if Ipswitch provides that option I will begin to use
it as an application component. We sell 3500+ Intranet solutions a year and
I would love to have a web based e-mail component that was SSL capable.
With an ASP gateway API that would be no sweat to do. It would add value to
our product and we would sell the hell out of IMAIL licenses if we could do
that. Somebody will do it soon if they don't, I sure hope IMAIL is the
first one since I love working with it so much. If anybody hears of any
other product opening an API into a robust mail server please let me know.
There are a million reasons that the API would be a good idea and it seems
more and more valuable to me all of the time. Please mother Ipswitch
please! Do I have to beg? I will if it will get me an API!
