In my experience, web messaging usually shows the characters the sender
embedded in the message, while those non-breaking-spaces ( ) are
filtered out by most HTML-aware mail clients. I'm using Outlook 2K, and BTW,
the https: and http: links in the other thread were BOTH underlined and
clickable. Your general problem is your application is creating a mail
message with lots of "hidden" code in it, which Netscape Messenger handles
in a more intelligent manner than the "bare-bones" IMail web messaging
client. Personally, I detest HTML-coded mail, and would remind you that
Pegasus mail or other less-capable mail clients will positively choke on
this code. It would be instructive to have your application save a message
as a text file, and examine the output with Notepad to see just what is in
there. Sorry if I'm a bit cranky this week (and it's only Tuesday). Just my
