Well it's not a matter of permissions. I've tried almost everything on
thoses files... What is weird is that when you access the mailbox with the
web interface, it updates the number of messages and then we can get the
mail through pop3...

What is weird too is that we have a log entry with an ERR message (error)
and IpSwitch guys doesn't give an answer about it..

12:17 00:00 SMTP-(00000154) (E1) ERR dwS=1688 dwS1=1682 UID=245220022

and there are line containing ERR "tag" only since version 6.01 has been
installed..

I had to go back to 5.08 aswell.. i only reinstalled 5.08 system files and
config.. but left the mailboxes for the different vhosts like they were with
6.01 and 5.08 reported correctly the number of messages and our customers
were able to download their mails...

It looks more like a bug in 6.01 that happen under some circumstence....
