Hi,

I am using IMail 5.07. I was told that by manually generating two
messages in the spool directory, a "Q".SMD file and a corresponding
"D".SMD file, I can generate messages from any computers on the LAN,
even those without SMTP clients. I can't seem to make this work. The
files simply sit in the directory and don't move. Below are the files I
created.

---Filename: d1.smd-----------------------------------------------

Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
From: "Sample Account " <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
To: "Beau " <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Subject: Manual message from sample account
X-Mailer: <MailMyCell v1.0>

This is a test message from the sample account.

---End file d1.smd-------------------------------------------------

---Filename: q1.smd-----------------------------------------------

QD:\IMAIL\spool\d1.gsc
Hmailmycell.com
S<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
R<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

---End file q1.smd-------------------------------------------------

If I use IMail1.exe, they get send right out. The above never works. I
was going to simply use MS's SMTP service, but I would rather stick with
IMail if it can do the job. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Beau
