Mike, Thanks for the quick response. Could you please just shed a little more light on which files it moves when enabled. Would it be all D* and Q* orphans or just one type? I just wanted to check into the potential of an issue here with IMail 8.21 and Declude. In the 8.21 release notes, it states the following: "Queue Manager: Add ability to copy previously orphaned files on startup after a queue manager failure." The forwarded message from the IMail list also comments about this new functionality. My concern here is what might happen if you are using Declude and there is an overflow condition in Declude when the Queue Manager service is restarted. Declude Queue leaves the D* files in the spool, and moves the Q* files to the overflow directory when the volume of E-mail is too high (configurable by the admin). It could be really bad if IMail's Queue Manager deleted the D* files from the spool if it didn't find the Q* files. Could someone confirm how this works in IMail 8.21? What condition causes Queue Manager to remove files, and what files are removed. Thanks, Matt Bruce Barnes wrote:Installed on W2K machine with absolutely no problems. Actually cleaned up some orphaned messages as soon as it re-started the queue as well.
