Fellow Imail Administrators,
I want to introduce the idea of an informal
Imail Admins users group. I thought we could
start with Imail administrators getting together
at major conferences and/or trade shows to discuss
Imail, Imail system administration hints/tricks/magic,
and meeting with the Ipswitch staff.
This could take the form of a Birds of a Feather
session at Interop or Internet World, a lunch time
informal gathering or even a dinner outing while
at a conference.
As we know from our participation here in the
mailing list, peer-to-peer communication can be
very valuable in problem resolution. An informal
gathering would continue and enhance this
communication.
Also, I believe it would be important to Ipswitch.
The success of their customers is their best advertising.
I believe Imail is an excellent product. I believe
more communication between Imail administrators and
Ipswitch will improve communication and lead to
an improved product.
An informal user gathering would also give us
a chance to assosicate an e-mail address with
the real people behind the questions and answers
posted here on the mailing list.
If anybody is interested let's talk.
