Ok, how about incomplete instead of orphaned? Regardless of what we want to call them, The T files are files for which the SMTP conversation has not yet finished.

I've never seen any other mail system handle messages in such a way as to "orphan" them and just leave them lying around... It's a lame way to deal with such messages, but that's really IPSwitch's fault. It's yet another reason why we need to get away from iMail. Anyway, as I've tried to say, these messages are legit and should not be "hanging around" at all. If I told a tech that these legitimate messages are in the queue, that should be deliverable according to the contents of the files I see sitting around, I wonder if he'd still slap a blatantly generic, presumptuous label of "orphaned" on them. If so, then the whole flippin' system is invalid as far as I'm concerned. These messages SHOULD be going somewhere, and I can verify their validity, or I too would call them orphaned.
