Ric,
The only way I can cause this error message is to have the wrong
username or password when using the tools. I also turned of the password
service and that did not affect my logins.
I did try your server with the info you provided over the phone and did
not get in. I then used telnet to the pop3 server and that shows the
username and password as correct. Then for some reason, I trued the SMTP
Port and find that you are running WebShield instead of IMail (guessing
you have set it to a different port). So I tried stopping my SMTP
service and I still got in.
This means that I do not know why you are having this trouble. I guess I
would suggest you try some other usernames to login as, to see if any
work.
