I just recently obtained a quote from our supplier to renew our Imail
Service Agreement for another 12 months. We only purchase Imail, not ICS
(which we feel is a total waste of money).

I asked your questions below and this is what I was told:

1. Yes, if you have a valid service agreement you will covered for a free
upgrade to Imail 2006 when it is released

2. Yes, there is a professional version that allows unlimited domains and
users. We are paying roughly $800 (Australian) per year for this (this is
one place where Imail has Exchange beat hands down....and price is always
such a big factor)

3. I was told a release date of November 2005....but that was from a
supplier and they are not always too reliable.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Imail Server 2006

Hi,

Does anybody know a bit more about the upcoming version IMail 2006?

I heard from Ipswitch Europe, that IMail 2006 will be available as a
standalone server like we used to have in earlier times.

- I'm sure, that an upgrade will be covered by a valid subscription. Is this
true?
- Is IMail 2006 available as "professional version", this means unlimited
domains and users?
- Do we have already a release date?
