Haven't gotten to 2006 yet... does it require a virtual web for each hosted
domain?  Or is it smart enough to personalize the look based on the email
address with which the user logs in?

The latter would be much preferred, so webmail is on one standard hostname
for all customers, but can be personalized with corporate colors, logos,
etc.
