After 15+ installation attempts, and over 3 hours on the phone with Ipswitch tech support I finally have a running version of Imail 2006.  Upgraded from 8.15x.

Users are VERY UNHAPPY with the new version.

Top few complaints so far:

The web interface has no "Print" functions.  I never heard of an email client that didn't want you to print messages.  You can right click and print most things, but not all.  This is a major screw up.  People want to print their messages...  DUH.

Web calendarding is all but gone.  No link to calendaring on the web interface.  I know you can tell people how to get there, but this is a perfect example of a rush to market mentality.

Many things do not work from an Admin standpoint.  The list user section doesn't work, you can't list more than one relay for address, and just a bunch of other issues.  Very sloppy work.

The web interface is S - L - O - W.  We put a brand new server in place with lots of power and the network tests are impressive, but even on a 100 mb/s line it is slow.  I don't think many will put up with it for long.

I am entirely sick and tired of the activation process.  Every repair install puts you back at square one and once you are out of activations you have to call and beg Ipswitch for more.

We've now got too time and money invested in 2006 to jusify dumping it, but I wish we had gone with SmarterMail.  Maybe it wouldn't have been any better, but I sure don't read about these issues at their site.

This is a sad day for Ipswitch... a company that put out a good, basic, solid email server that was easy to install and configure.  Those days are gone.
