Hmmm... you're right.  It's been changed.  Boy what a difference a couple of
months makes.  I was encouraging a customer in December to move to 2005 and
at the time Express was limited to desktop only.

Thanks for reminding me that MS changes its mind quite frequently <g>.

Hmm...  that's  not  true  any  longer (I believe that was a a "draft"
EULA).  While  certainly  encouraged  as  a desktop database to upsell
other  editions, Express, as I currently understand it, may clearly be
used for multi-user commercial applications -- provided the processor,
db size, and memory restrictions are acceptable.

Otherwise,  it  wouldn't  make  much  sense for MS to say, "SQL Server
Express  and Visual Web Developer provide a simple integrated platform
for    building    dynamic    and    reliable    Web    sites"   (from
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/editions/express/overview.mspx).
