They have not added the per-connection thing yet.
IIS -- If they use a username/password not anonymous access requires a CAL
IMAIL -- Does not require a CAL
SQL -- Depends. :) If you have IIS and have a CAL for IIS it will work for
SQL
No more double dipping on the CAL's
You don't need a CAL for each application Like Exchange/SQL/BackOffice etc
anymore..
