Hi,   This is a Outlook Express bug which also surfaces when just ONE persone/computer is accessing the IMAP folder. It is also sort off present when using OE to access news servers.   When not using OE for a number of minutes and then cliking on a folder it wil instantly claim there is no connection, right after that there is a connection and mail can be seen/read/marked/etc.   Somehow OE also sometimes cannot access a mail the first time it tries to get it from the server. My feeling has always been that it's related to the other item. The problem with this bug is that OE will mark somewhere for itself that it could not download the message and will refuse to do so in the future. Funny thing is.... I have set all the client to sync only headers and know that none of them are deleting the messages.
