ImailSRV.exe has to do with list service, so you need to look in that direction. Check your logs for e-mails to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Subject: [IMail Forum] IMailSrv process gone mad.

Hi,

Would anyone know what could cause the IMailSrv.exe service to open 900+ process (960 to be precise)?

I didn’t find anything suspicious in the logs aside from this bugging line that comes up every half hour

SMTPD(0000000000000000) Process Spawned: "C:\IMail\imailsrv" -q x

Are these issues related?

I’m running IMail 8.22 on Win2K, no relay.

Post from January 11, 2006 (SUBJECT: Logs: Fax Program Not Configured) discusses the same issue but no resolution came out of it.

Thanks in advance
