After you upload the new templete, then delete the
associated .par file from the web folder.  For example:
Filename - login.html, Delete login.par.
If you get an access violation when deleting the .par
stop the Web Service and then delete it.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Can't Change Templates

Hey All,

I had I-Mail working great on one server.  We decided to upgrade our server and so we installed Imail 5.0 on the server.  We copied over all the directory structure including the /web/ directory.  Everything worked fine except for a issue with justification.  We thought that maybe the upgrade to 5.09 would fix that.

After I upgraded to 5.04 it worked great.  The justification was fixed. ... But after installing 5.09 I get an error <! invalid template ... !>

IPSwitch tells me to add something to the title... which is already there... or to copy the stuff to the root of the domain (domain/web).  I have done this... it still didnt work....

Next I re-downloaded the template (dkblue) and uploaded the new templates... WOW everything works.... but I wanted to add my logo at the top and change the wmlogo.gif.  I used NOTEPAD to edit the pages cause I know if you use a regular editor it changes things.  I opened my old login.htm and my new login.htm.  I copied ONLY the image link to the corresponding place on the new login.htm... and then uploaded it... and once again I get the <! Invalid Template !> message...

Can anyone help.

Corey
