Anyone currently running ASSP with Imail?
There are a few of us running ASSP with Imail. We have been using it at our
site for years and it works well. Greatly reduces the amount of email Imail
has to contend with and the new version almost completely stops viruses from
being received due to the delaying tactic. It's spam detection is very
good.
Know any gotchas.. Have and scripts.. Things that work for you?
Would appreciate your input as we're getting ready to test this out.
ASSP works well with Imail and any email server for that matter. I believe
it requires the latest version of ActiveState Perl 5.8.x. It can be run on
Windows or *nix.
There have been many posts on this list about ASSP. That fact and this
being an Imail list, I will offer the following links for you to research
rather than rehashing what has been said here many times. Definitely check
out the ASSP user lists and forums for more info and afterward, if you still
