Hello, Last week I upgraded finally from version 8.22 to IMail 2006.1, the upgrade went very well, but for those of you who have upgraded or are thinking in upgrading, I wanted to pass a serious bug, at least for us, regarding the domain administration.
Version 2006.1 is not honoring the "Maximum user count" set for each domain, so any domain administrator is able to add as many users as they wish, this is a very serious problem for us as we let every customer to manage their own domains, I believe that many of you do the same. Last Friday I contacted tech support and they were able to reproduce the problem, the technician who handle my call told me that he was going to pass the case to the development team. As this is very important, I suggest that those of you who had upgraded do some tests in your own systems and report the problem to Ipswitch, maybe if enough of us do it, they'll release a patch before the next version that could take several months.
