Jason, We just a Barracuda in place about 4 weeks ago.  So far, we love it.  It's not perfect, but it's stopping about 95% of the mail sent (out of an average of 200k messages daily) to our network right off the bat.  Behind that we're putting a second gateway running our old copy of iMail (we've moved to SmarterMail for our primary mail server), mxGuard and Message Sniffer.  Should be very effective at not only keeping the network free from the overhead of most of the junk mail, but also tagging what does get through as spam. By the way, since putting in the Barracuda, we have been running without Message Sniffer and have noticed a HUGE difference in the annoying campaigns that start up that Pete and his team quickly catch and write rules to tag.  If you haven't tried Message Sniffer, you definitely should.  It is without a doubt the best investment we've made to date in our efforts of fighting spam.
