Someone could be sending mail from outside addressed to your list server which would be delivered to the list server itself causing the problem. Tripp _____

Short of that, you could temporarily rename imailsrv.exe to imailsrv.sav so it can't be started, but if you have any valid lists you would lose list messages while it is renamed. Then look through your logs and see where the messages are coming from and block that IP.
