I've heard from another user and duplicated the problem myself. The
entire error message on trying to reply to an email via Web Messaging is:

One user is using Internet Explorer so I don't think it's a browser
issue. This was working yesterday because I sent a reply via Web
Messaging. Anything else I should look for?
