Fabio,

No luck with that syntax either. Here's an interesting twist. The following rule (copy) works:

<fred>S~egghole:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Of course, this doesn't protect my end user from getting the offensive email. But I think it verifies that the basic syntax is correct.

And now, strangely enough, this rule works - it didn't yesterday - no kidding.

<fred>S~egghole:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

We'll see if it works tomorrow!

Thanks to you and Travis for offering your suggestions.

Brent

For the result - did you choose "send a copy to" or "forward to"

Subject: [IMail Forum] problem with inbound rules iMail 2006

Hi. I'm having an issue with inbound rules. When I create a rule, it
will forward to a target account if that's the action I select, but it
still delivers to the original account, which as I see it, sort of
defeats the purpose of the rule. If I choose to delete or bounce the
mail to which the rule applies, it still gets delivered to the
recipient. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Brent
