Hi all,
Some big problems on one of our servers today and I
have a feeling that IMail might be the cause (only
because we've just recently upgraded to IMail and I
can't think of anything else that has changed).
Our entire site went down in the following way:
- DNS is fine.
- Everything PINGs fine.
- Everything connects fine.
- Nothing responds (IIS www, ftp, PCAnywhere, etc).
If I look in some of my own logs I see that some of
the last things that have happened before users
could no longer access the site is IMail timing out
when attempts at access were made...
I know this isn't a lot to go by, but does anyone
have any ideas? Has anyone ever seen anything like
this before?
