Ok, I was fat, dumb, and happy until per someone suggestion on the list I tried the Mice & Men DNS analyzer. If this is too off topic, please contact me off list. There is just too much knowledge here to ignore.
Although I could not run the analyzer internally because my router would not route back to itself, I did have them run it and send the report (attached) As far as I know everything works here. My questions about their errors are as follows
1)Non-authoritative data received from the server "dns.wwnet.net." (full error below)
Q- how do I fix this?
2)) The primary mail server "wwwserver.apratech.org." can possibly be used as a mail relay...(full error below)
Q- I only want to relay mail for the domains that I host, is "Relay mail for Local Hosts" the correct choice. Will this be transparent to the users? (I feel naked with this one)
3) There is no PTR record for the host "apra.org." (full error below)
Q- NT's DNS manager makes no mention of PTR records, except that when creating an 'A' record there is a checkbox that says "update associated PTR record" which is checked. How do I fix this, or do I care?
REPORT follows...

----------------------------------------------------------------------
o There is just one NS record in the zone
The zone contains just one NS record. Every zone should contain
two or more NS records, and the NS records in the zone should
match the delegation data for the domain.
o There is only one MX record in the zone
The zone contains only one MX record. This will cause mail
delivery problems if the primary mail server becomes unavailable.
For safety purposes, there should be two or more mail servers
for every zone, the extra mail servers being used as backup
(secondary) servers for the primary server.
