Dustin, here are my experiences:

Pros:

- Easy to manage user database
- If you use Imail database, the machine's registry will get large when the
number of users increase

Cons:

- If you stop or restart SQL server, you'll have to stop and restart Imail
Web Messaging unless you have a copy of the modified odbcuser.dll from
someone here in the forum
- Make sure when you install SQL server to store Imail user database,
specify it to be not case-sensitive. This is very important. For example,
if you install the SQL server as case-sensitive and you have a user email
address such as [EMAIL PROTECTED] , If someone send an email using uppercase
like [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED], the email will bounce back.
The reason is because SQL server was installed to be case-sensitive,
therefore the data is also case-sensitive.

Of course, other people can add to the list of pros and cons.

Dan
