We're running Imail 5.08 on NT4 SP5. I have
about 4 Imac subscribers and one of them it having problems with SMTP. I
seem to recall this problem once before, but I *think* is was an issue with an
earlier release of Imail.
Problem: OE4 returns the error message "Mail
could not be sent at this time. The server returned the error:
Unacceptable mail address".
Progress: We've verified that the SMTP server it
correct (even tried using the IP Address instead). I've had him *Reply* to
a message from me, so it's not a typo/etc. Verified that POP3 works
fine.
Possibilities: (1)I have SMTP security enabled
and am blocking any hack attempts/etc. (2) Maybe just that OE4 for Mac is
buggy.
Anyone else ever have this problem?
