Personally, I avoid frames as much as possible. And I think many very
successful sites get along just fine without them. There was a lot of
gratuitous use of frames a couple of years ago, but most sites have heeded
the sensible backlash and dropped frames.
I don't think there is any crying NEED for frames to navigate the Imail web
interface, which isn't really that complicated.
Also, be extremely carefuly modifying the Imail .htm, because there have
been many reports here where mistakes in the modified .htm cause the Imail
web messaging application to blow up. Throwing frames into the mix could
be more trouble than it's worth.
