David,

My recommendation is to change the "official" host names on your domains
to the friendlier "domain.com", then have an alias of "mail.domain.com".
This will help in other ways, like the auto-generated reply-to
addresses.

You can do this through the IMail admin... just go to the general tab,
click "Add Host", hilite the one you want to edit, switch the Official
Host Name and Aliases content around, then click Save, and answer "No"
to the prompt to create a new host. There are some DNS considerations
with this, too: here's an example of the mail-related DNS records we
use:

contestclicker.com. IN MX 30 mail.contestclicker.com.
mail IN A 206.57.37.81

If you want to save yourself some time and trouble modifying the
templates, feel free to start with ours... you can strip our name off of
them. All we ask is the modest license fee of $49 per server; you can
distribute your version and mark it up all you want.

Hope this helps,

HTH,
