Ron,

We would love to make use of this thing, if you decide to do it. We run CF,
so no problem there, and we have the mail tag...

Kevin,

We could write you a utility that would send a message comprised
entirely of a text file, meaning that no extra headers would be
prepended, and the headers you write (like Content-Type:
multipart/mixed) would be respected on the receiving end. (That's the
best way to do an HTML newsletter, by the way: mixed format, so plain
text is available to the clients as well.)

If you didn't mind composing the text file manually (we'll show you the
proper header format, etc.), our program will send that file to a
specified address, from a specified address, using a specified SMTP
server. Our utility would talk directly to the SMTP server via a socket
connection.

Feels like a 1 to 2-hour project to me, so how does $85 sound? We'd be
writing it with Delphi, and giving you a compiled product. If you're
running ColdFusion, I could give you for free the CF code that does the
same thing, only you'll need the $49 CFX_Mail tag available at
http://www.allaire.com, since the built-in CFMAIL tag doesn't allow you
to customize your headers.

Let me know,
Ron
