Hi,
Has anybody had problems with 6.03?? We have.
We have just upgraded our imail 6.02 server to 6.03, since rebooting the
server it started to crashing completely. Unfortunately the server is in a
remote location so all we can tell is that the TCP/IP stack goes down. Half
the time it reboots (according to the log) and the other half it just sits
there until we power cycle it.
We managed to get into it to stop all the imail services and then restarted
them one at a time. The system spontaneously reboots as soon as we started
the ldap service.
The configuration uses Mr Nice's patched ODBC dll (thanks by the way :) with
SQL 7.0 and hosts about 100 domains.
It has now started working but we are not sure why as all we have done is
restart all services and servers (SQL and our IMAP webmail software). It has
now been stable for 30mins but we are seriously considering going back to
yesterdays backup if we can not find a good reason for the problem and a
documented fix.
Does this sound familiar, has anybody experienced the problem in a similar
setup??
Cheers
Steve
