As I said in a parallel msg, you should get your ISP and his "correct" MTA
to relay all your inbound and outbound.
For the outbound, you Imail will dump its outbound quickly on the ISP's MTA
who will then do dirty work of DNS lookups and final delivery.
Now, between you and him, you've got to figure out some scheme for the
"mail security" of this situation so that not just anybody who calls him up
from any one of his dynamic ip's can ask his MTA for all YOUR mail that
he's storing ready to forward to your Imail.
That's one reason, perhaps main reason, why fixed ip's are so preferred for
dial-up mail users running ETRN. ie, without fixed ip, or ip subnet
checking, anybody could call up and say
ETRN comcarehealth.ca
and steal your mail.
