Ok, I use to get the error message "Access Violation in SMTP32.exe" and since I'm running IMail with the NT database I had to add the "system" account with full control to my drives where IMail reside, etc. That fixed the problem, but now I have a different scenario. I had the wrong permissions setup on my alias folder which I call "aliases", so no user could send successfully to multiple aliases that I have in that folder. I removed the permissions and put "Everyone - Full Control" and it fixed the problem, but now I'm getting the "Access Violations - SMTP32.exe" error again. I then put only have the "Everyone" & "System" accounts setup for permissions to my folders yet I'm still getting the error message. What gives? Here is my configuration, so it's easier to understand: IMail Top Directory = E:\IMail Spool Directory = F:\Spool Alias Directory = F:\Aliases The Permissions on the actual drives themselves are setup as: me and two other admins with Full Control & The System account with full control.
