This can happen when a POP3 client has a mailbox open when the SMTPD server
is trying to "ldeliver" an incoming msg to the box. You will see this in
the sysMMDD.txt logs as SMTPD failures, but they succeed on the next
delivery attempt.
I suppose the same could happen when someone is logged into web messaging,
and incoming mail arrives.
