Kevin,
First, you are using a pretty old (v4.04) version of IMail and it would not
hurt to use a later one in the 4.0x series (4.07 did NOT have any MX
problem). I do not recall a MX problem in the 4.04, but it is remotely
possible (I'd have to dig through the archives). To be sure, I would
re-install IMail, on the off chance that your SMTPD32/SMTP32 programs might
be damaged. I would also check your HOSTS file to be sure you do not have
entries for the domains you are having the MX problem with (Hosts file is
used before DNS). I would also make sure the DNS setting in IMail SMTP, is
the same as you used when doing the lookups. If you have more than 1 DNS
address, please note that IMail will use only the first, so that should be
your Primary DNS.
PS - if re-install 'fixes' the problem, then check your hard disk and file
system!
