Brian,

I have been using Eudora with Imail for three years without any 
problems.  If you are using Eudora v4.3.0 or 4.3.1, you will need to 
disable "Allow Authentication" or you will not be able to send mail.  The 
authentication setting can be found in Tools -> Options -> Getting Started.
