Brian,

If IMail's List Server cannot send to a particular user, it will send one or
more email to the List Admin, telling which addresses it did not deliver to.
Reasons like unknown user, unknown host, mailbox full and others will be
reported to the list admin. Of course the list must have a valid (admin)
account to send the messages to and the SMTP 'Refuse Null Senders' if
enabled, could keep the admin from getting the error messages from the
'postmaster' (both internal and external). IMail will not 'lose' email, so
it must be going somewhere. Also, Log files may need to be viewed to help
determine the ultimate reason some user does not get the message.

This List often cannot deliver email to everyone, many times because the
users mailbox is full (has a limit on it). These messages are always sent to
the list admin.

Subject: [IMail Forum] List missing random recipients

Hi,

I have a question for you all. What would cause an email list to send an
email to everyone on the list except for one person? This seems to happen
with one of our clients. It sends mail to everyone on the list but one or
two people, and they are not the same addresses each time. It seems to be
random. Anyone have any suggestions? We are running Imail ver. 6.02.

Thanks,

Brian Manuel
