ADDUSER.EXE Feature

I understand everything you're saying. The feature I'm
talking about (and
many others on this list that want it) is about adding 10
lines of code to
adduser.exe, simply setting another registry value. It
would accomplish a
                few things:

                1) Make automation MUCH simpler
                2) Less people would need to use SQL, taking another problem
away since
                IMail doesn't support SQL7 directly
                3) Reduce quite a few of the problems from ISP's/hosting
companies that
                largely support IMail

                Mark,

Do not 'expect' any answers in this forum from anyone in
Ipswitch Tech
Support. That is not the reason or mode of operation for
this forum. If you
MUST have an answer, try email to our support address. We
will respond.

I can tell you, that no one in support will quote you a
date. Even if I had
a beta in my hands right now, I would NOT say 'it will be
released next
Tuesday', even if that were the planned release date. Why,
because things
change. Because maybe the developers have something else on
their schedules
that preclude 'fixing' your particular 'problem'. If it
means changing the
design criterion, well, that will probably take longer.

Your request for this capability in adduser.exe has been
passed on to the
developers and when (or if) it is scheduled, it will be
done. I do not have
details about their schedule and even if I did, I could not
state that any
particular problem will be fixed until I see the fix myself
and it has been
                approved for release.
