Are you running 2000?  Are you creating accounts on the same server as Imail
is running on?  No synch would be necessary if so.  Win2000 doesn't have
BDC's, it only has DC's.  They replicate with each other in circular
replication, unless a mesh replication scheme is added manually.
Replication of updates is triggered when a user (or an application or
service) updates a particular object or objects on a domain controller. When
an update occurs, a timer is started, which I belive is 5 minutes.  There is
a utility called Active Directory Replication Monitor that can force
replication, which comes with the Windows 2000 Support Tools.

want to try "synching the domain" after adding the user(s).
