Pelle,
1. List Servers do use plain text files for storage of user addresses. They
are user.lst and user.txt and are found in that lists directory. I would
suggest you subscribe via email to a test list to see the format of the
files. As long as you use that format and do not have the files open when
the list needs them, you should be OK.
2. took me a bit to figure out what you were asking, but here goes: Yes, you
can use different web files for each domain. You need to create a \web
directory under the one used by that domain (the 'Top Directory' in the Host
Configuration screen for that domain) and place in it all the modified files
the Web MSG will use for that domain. Any file not found in this directory
will cause IMail to then look to the *:\imail\web directory and it will use
these 'default' files.
